I will never get tired of the term “iPhone Killer,” but if there ever was one which really hoped to live up to that moniker, it would be the HTC Touch Diamond. The interface is really slick and the 2.8-inch VGA screen looks awesome.

Couple that fact with Windows Mobile 6.1, aGPS, some HSDPA/HSUPA goodness, and you have your perfect touchscreen phone. HTC has definitely put in a lot of effort for this do-it-all device, but of course, we never know how Apple might strike back with the 3G iPhone. You have had a look at the pictures of the Touch Diamond, now take a look at it in action!

The KM380 is a flip phone that is different from most clam shells we see today. Yes, we do see the flaps in todays clamshell phones to cover the numeric keypad, but unlike the phones today, the KM380′s flaps are functional. It has the five

For those satisfied with the basic functions of cell phone in a cell phone, Alcatel has introduced a new low-end candybar, the OT-S211. Although the price isn’t revealed, this could very well serve as your secondary phone to go along with your higher-end ones. This pudgy guy can make/receive calls and has a 250-name memory for contacts. Nothing flashy connectivity-wise, but the phone does have

T9 dictionary to speed those short messages. The standard alarm clock and calculator are also included and Alcatel has thrown in a game to play when you need a break.

Details about pricing or availability are elusive right now, but am sure the OT-S211 will fit right into anybody’s budget.

The new Philips GoGear SA5225 digital audio/video player just cleared the FCC hurdle. The player handles WMV and MPEG4 video files as well as WMA and AAC audio files. It also has a picture viewer, and is capable of displaying album art. There’s an on-board FM radio receiver, while the recording utility lets you record not only voice memos but also FM audio.

The GoGear player can also stream audio and transfer files using Bluetooth wireless technology. The player features an Options button which throws up useful options depending on the current menu, as well as volume controls at the bottom. There’s a 5-way control point that lets you play/pause, skip forward/back and scroll up/down. It comes with a USB connector to aid in data transfer.

The Philips GoGear SA5225 can be charged over USB, which is convenient. It takes a good 4 hours for a complete charge (80% charge takes 2 hours).

No word on the pricing or availability, but check back with us for that later.

The LG-SH240 cell phone actually feels like skin. I don’t know why anyone would want their cell phones to feel like human skin, but LG seems to think it’s a good idea. The texture came from a design using silicon
which is used on the front panel including the directional buttons, keypad, and menu. The LG-SH240 comes with SK Telecom Korea’s MONETA service, 2 megapixel camera, MP3 player, video telephony, and Bluetooth connectivity. The cell phone will sell for approximately US$400 in the Korea market.
