Virgin Mobile bags Samsung’s Slash
Virgin Mobile has announced the launch of Slash, a slick new slider from Samsung. With its great looks, the Slash additionally offers a camera of unspecified dimensions, web browsing, speakerphone, voice dialling, Bluetooth and MP3 ringtone support. From the looks of it, this will be another low to mid-range phone, accompanying the Kyocera Sonic, the only other slider on Virgin Mobile’s portfolio.

Skype releases beta app for mobile phones
After conquering the iPhone and the PSP (not to forget the N800), Skype has now introduced a new beta application built for cell phones, giving users the freedom to make use of its VOIP services anywhere anytime.
