The FCC has approved what looks to be a lower-end T-Mobile Sidekick (Sidekick Lite?). The Sidekick is technically produced by Danger and is called the HipTop, T-Mobile owns the Sidekick brand. The FCC filing doesn’t reveal if this is a T-Mobile device or not. There is a confidentiality request in place so not much is known about the device. It’s a tri-band GSM device, possibly with EDGE. No Bluetooth, but it will likely retain the classic HipTop/Sidekick design.
