BlackBerry Curve 8330 Smartphone for Verizon Wireless


The BlackBerry Curve 8330 Smartphone from RIM is now available to Verizon customers. The silver smartphone comes with a slew of options including BlackBerry internet service – with support for up to 10 POP3 and IMAP personal/corporate email accounts. For small businesses, you get BlackBerry Professional Software allowing advanced security

and IT administration with Lotus Domino, Microsoft Exchange and Novell Groupwise environments.

The BlackBerry 8330 measures 4.2″ x 2.4″ x 0.6″ and weighs only 4 oz. Obviously, it features a QWERTY keyboard and RIM’s trackball navigation system. Other goodies include speaker-independent voice recognition for voice dialing, dedicated Send, End and Mute keys and a low distortion speakerphone.

The Curve features Bluetooth 2.0 with support for A2DP and AVRCP profiels. There’s also a 2 megapixel camera with 5x zoom and support for microSD memory cards.

Pricd at US $169.99 (after $50 mail-in rebate) and new 2-year agreement, the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 is availble online and in stores.
