Eye candy called Paris


It wouldn’t be wrong to say that 2008 is the year of the touchscreen phones. We have already seen the Xperia X1, the Tube, the 3G iPhone, the Vu, and the awesomeness called Touch Diamond, not to forget the Xenium 800 from Philips. That’s pretty much every major cell phone manufacturer out there people! Here’s one more touchscreen device from Sony Ericsson, which is codenamed Paris.

The touch mania never ends. The latest to enter the already congested market headed by the Apple iPhone, is the Xenium 800 from Philips. Although the Xenium series is known for its long-lasting battery life , sometimes up to a month, the Xenium 800 is no less than any other touchscreen phone out there, being even better than some.

Philips M600 to hit the Chinese Market


Not to be mistaken for the other M600, this nice-looking candybar comes from Philips bound for China. While the design doesn’t give us much to complain about, this dual-band GSM phone is pretty much low end except for its music-oriented features.

Airis T482 PDA GPS phone


Airis has released the T482, a PDA GPS phone that is advertised as a phone with CoPilot Live, developed by ALK Technologies. The T482, as mentioned, is a PDA with quadband GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), GPRS and EDGE, and runs on a Marvell PXA270 processor at 416MHz.

Philips GoGear SA5225 Digital Audio/Video Player



The new Philips GoGear SA5225 digital audio/video player just cleared the FCC hurdle. The player handles WMV and MPEG4 video files as well as WMA and AAC audio files. It also has a picture viewer, and is capable of displaying album art. There’s an on-board FM radio receiver, while the recording utility lets you record not only voice memos but also FM audio.
