New High-Speed Nokia N95 with HSDPA Now Shipping Across United States

Posted by William Teller on September 27th, 2007  Print This Post

High-speed internet on your mobile phone is here, thanks to the new Nokia N95 with support for High Speed Download Package Access (HSDPA) in North American networks. The spanking new N95 is now shipping across the US. Featuring some new upgrades – including Assisted GPS (A-GPS) technology – N95 users can also take advantage of the new SlingPlayer

Mobile for Symbian OS to enjoy your home TV programming. You can even watch broadcasts of content recorded to a DVR from anywhere a HSDPA or WiFi network is available.

The Nokia N95’s integrated A-GPS combined with Nokia Maps is great for mapping and routing in over 150 countries and there’s support for full turn-by-turn satellite navigation in over 30 countries. If you hurry, you can also get a 1-month navigation license, a city guide of your choice and additional maps pre-loaded on a 1GB memory card.

Priced at US $699, the new Nokia N95 is now available at the Nokia Flagship Store in New York City and Chicago. It is definitely tempting me to chuck out my Nokia N73 music edition phone but at that price I’d probably keep my N73 for a few more months.
